We are currently on the lookout for a SoftwareArchitectto join our team.

The Role:

• Design and document scalable, modular, and secure software architectures using Java and related technologies.

• Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.

• Evaluate and recommend technology choices, frameworks, and tools.

• Develop proof-of-concept solutions to assessnew technologiesand approaches.

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to align technical strategies with business goals.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to the engineering team on architectural decisions and trade-offs.

• Ensure system designs meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.

• Identifyand resolve architectural bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

• Lead code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.

• Create clear and comprehensive architecture documentation.

• Communicate technical designs effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Profile:

• A first degree in Computer Science from a recognized foreign or local university; a relevant master’s degree will be an added qualification.

• A minimum oftenyears of work experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Extensive experience with Java(Java 8+), SpringFrameworkand ORM frameworks.

• Proficiencyin designing and implementing microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.

• Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and caching solutions.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Excellent problem-solving andcritical-thinkingskills.

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Knowledge of application security, performance tuning, andDevSecOpspractices.

• Excellent leadership and negotiation skills with the ability to clearly propose and articulate architecture and technology decisions.
