About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Specialist – Retread Systems to act as a key liaison between Continental Retread Solutions (CRS) partners, plant operations, internal IT teams, and external development partners. In this role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the CLCSoft shop-floor application.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Release Management (40%)

  • Gather and document requirements for new features and enhancements
  • Translate business needs into database designs and specifications
  • Coordinate development sprints, UAT, and deployments
  • Manage release processes including version control and documentation
  • Validate system functionality

Incident & Problem Management (25%)

  • First point of contact for incidents
  • Troubleshoot EDI/SFTP issues
  • Perform SQL checks and debugging
  • Conduct root cause analysis
  • Document incidents and solutions

User Management & Training (10%)

  • Manage user access and roles
  • Create training materials
  • Conduct remote training sessions
  • Support onboarding of new partners

Stakeholder & Vendor Management (10%)

  • Coordinate with development partners
  • Monitor vendor performance and SLAs
  • Collaborate with AWS and Cybersecurity teams
  • Align with Purchasing and internal stakeholders

Master Data Management (15%)

  • Maintain system master data
  • Ensure data integrity
  • Enforce governance standards

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
  • 5+ years experience (2+ relevant)
  • Shop-floor IT support experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Very good English proficiency
  • SQL knowledge
  • EDI/SFTP experience

Preferred:

  • Retread manufacturing knowledge
  • Agile development methods & tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • Basic Spanish proficiency
