Job Description

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Software Analyst II supports the implementation, configuration, and ongoing operation of enterprise administrative and collaborative applications. This role is responsible for ensuring SaaS platforms—such as Airtable, Miro, and similar collaboration tools—are reliable, secure, well‑configured, and aligned to business needs through both administration and hands‑on solution building.

The analyst works with limited supervision and partners closely with application owners, technical teams, security, and business stakeholders to support platforms, build application artifacts, and manage access using Azure identity and single sign-on (SSO) capabilities.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Configures, administers, and supports enterprise SaaS applications, with a focus on collaborative and administrative platforms such as Airtable and Miro
  • Builds and maintains application artifacts including Airtable bases, tables, interfaces, automations, views, and Miro boards, templates, and collaborative workspaces to support business needs.
  • Owns day‑to‑day application support and operations, including intake, triage, troubleshooting, and coordination of issue resolution.
  • Supports application implementations, feature rollouts, workspace setup, configuration changes, and platform enhancements under established direction.
  • Translates business requirements into configured solutions, workflows, and documented usage patterns within supported applications.
  • Manages user access and permissions, including role assignments and group‑based access using Azure AD / Entra ID, SSO, and IAM best practices.
  • Participates in and supports testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing for application changes.
  • Monitors application usage, stability, and adoption, and identifies opportunities for optimization, standardization, or improved governance.
  • Creates and maintains documentation such as configuration references, onboarding guides, support playbooks, and process flows.
  • Collaborates with cross‑functional partners (IT, security, platform owners, and business users) to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.
  • Contributes to agile delivery activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and incremental improvements.
  • Supports governance, security, and compliance standards related to SaaS application management and identity access.

YOU ARE

  • Mid‑level professional role supporting assigned applications or functional areas.
  • Works independently on moderately complex configuration, support, and implementation tasks with established guidance.
  • Impact spans supported platforms and their end users across multiple teams.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience in information systems, business systems, or a related field.
  • Typically, 2–4 years of experience in software analysis, application support, or SaaS platform administration.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting and building within enterprise SaaS applications, particularly collaborative or administrative platforms.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining application artifacts such as workflows, configurations, templates, or structured data models.
  • Working knowledge of user access management, roles, and permissions in cloud‑based environments.
  • Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, including SSO configuration, group‑based access, or identity lifecycle processes.
  • Ability to translate business needs into usable, well‑structured application configurations.
  • Familiarity with service intake or work management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an agile or iterative delivery environment preferred.
