Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
To assist the varsity softball team with day-to-day duties, on practice and game days.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Practice Days (when available):
-Assist in setting up/breaking down practice
-Feeding and collecting balls for reps
-Assist in running/pitching front toss in some offensive drills
-Filming when needed
-Recording/tracking/charting certain aspects of practice
Game days (when available):
-Getting the bat list ready and assisting in bat testing
-Keeping score on the iPad/teaching athletes how to do the same
-In-game filming responsibilities
-In-game live tweeting (if applicable)
-Assisting in field maintenance between games

Some softball knowledge/background, Self-motivation, Reliability, Professionalism, Communication
Physical and Environmental Factors:
This position requires crouching, stooping, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs., and repetitive motions to perform the essential functions. It also requires occasional exposure to loud noise to perform the essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
