Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Role Purpose
The S&OE Process Leader drives operational excellence by establishing a standardized and scalable S&OE framework across regions (AMER, EMEA and APAC). The role ensures disciplined weekly execution, strengthens cross-functional accountability, and improves supply-demand responsiveness through data-driven governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the global S&OE process design, governance, and maturity roadmap
• Lead and drive the standardization of the S&OE process across all plants and product-lines
• Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial and Finance as part of the S&OE governance framework
• Define decision rights, escalation mechanisms and accountability model across functions
• Develop and implement standardized templates, tools and best practices to support process execution
• Deliver training to stakeholders and create/maintain S&OE training materials and documentation
• Act as regional support for S&OE activities specially in AMER region
• Develop global KPIs and performance dashboard to measure execution health
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process effectiveness and efficiency
• Ensure integration between S&OE, SIOP and IMAX processes
Experience/Education Required
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Operations / PLM
• Strong Project Management skills
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives
• Strong communication skills
• Experience influencing in a matrix organization
Experience/Education – Preferred
• Experience in global process ownership
• Experience in SIOP / IBP environments
• ERP (SAP), APS (Maestro KXS), Power BI

The range for this position is $82,207.00 - $113,035.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
