Downer Professional Services comprises of three business units our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice, and Team Downer, which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security.
We currently have an opportunity for a SOE Integration Engineer in Canberra to work on LNIC projects
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including:
Design, build and maintain Standard Operating Environments (SOEs), supporting software integration, deployment and configuration management.
Manage deployment environments using MDT, MECM/SCCM and Intune, including application packaging, scripting and build automation.
Support DEVOPS and automation practices using PowerShell, Ansible, GitLab and orchestration tools to streamline system builds and deployments.
Provide network and infrastructure support across Windows Server and Windows 10/11 environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, PKI and security solutions.
Contribute to systems integration, capability development and test activities, supporting Defence environments, Army exercises, and Land Integration Framework (LIF-D) initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
Strong experience with Windows Server, enterprise Microsoft environments and endpoint management tools.
Demonstrated scripting and automation capability (PowerShell, Ansible or similar).
Solid understanding of networking, infrastructure and systems integration principles.
Experience with configuration management, technical documentation and deployment processes.
Ability to operate in deployable ICT or Defence-style environments, with exposure to DEVOPS, CI/CD, Linux or secure environments highly regarded.
Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain an AGSVA Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
