We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Lab Testing Engineer to join our R&D Labs team in Kfar Saba. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing verification and validation activities to ensure that Sodastream's new products meet design requirements, customer expectations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. #LI-Hybrid #sodastream Responsibilities (English) Conduct water quality testing, including chemical, microbiological, and sensory evaluations in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements. Design, develop, and execute functional, performance and reliability tests on various products including machines, bottles and accessories. Coordinate testing activities in laboratories, production sites, and external laboratories or partner facilities. Document test procedures, results and observations clearly and accurately. Analyze test results and identify deviations from expected performance. Develop and maintain product verification and validation strategies, plans, protocols, and reports. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety rules and procedures. Work closely with R&D engineers, QA and suppliers. Qualifications (English) B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related scientific/technical discipline. 2–5 years of hands-on laboratory or technical testing experience (R&D or production environment preferred). Strong hands-on technical skills and solid mechanical understanding. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Understanding of test procedures, test repeatability, measurement accuracy, and documentation practices. Ability to work precisely, systematically, and methodically. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. Fluent Hebrew and high-level English, both written and spoken. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with mechanical systems and water analysis. Experience with consumer product testing. Familiarity with quality standards, certification processes, and product validation requirements.
