Signet Health is partnering with Montage Health to assist with recruiting licensed therapists (LCSW, LMFT) for the Ohana Center for Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health located in Monterey, CA.
The Ohana Therapist reports to the Assistant Director of Outpatient Services and is responsible for providing evaluations and individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents and their families. In addition, the Ohana Therapist provides mental health education to patients and, as appropriate, to the community and other professionals. Other important dimensions of this position include commitment to continuous learning, innovation, quality of care and outcomes measurements, professionalism, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Must have strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and curiosity as well as comfort prioritizing safety and quality of care. The Therapist is expected to maintain a productivity standard of at least 25 patient-facing billable hours per week.
Assigned Working Hours:
- 8 hour shifts during open business hours, which are: Monday through Thursday 8am-7pm, Friday and Saturday 8am-5pm
Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience)
- $55.36 to $74.04
Education:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology or Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
- Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment as well as ongoing required training.
Licensure/Certifications:
- LCSW or LMFT in the state of CA is required.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
- AVADE certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
- Complete mandatory 5150 training by Monterey County to obtain 5150 certification and obtain 5150 Professional staff authorization yearly.
- Live Scan fingerprint clearance required by the Department of Healthcare Services is a requirement.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and families.
- Training in either Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is preferred, but not required.
- Training in EBT (evidence-based therapies); education and supervision activities connected to identified areas of clinician interest and programmatic needs of Ohana.
