Social Worker (Travel) - MSW - Burbank, CA

VitalHire is hiring a travel Social Worker (MSW) for an acute care hospital in Burbank, CA.

• Weekly pay: $2,173/wk
• Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,995/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)
• Shift: Day (5x8 Hours) 8:00 16:30
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: 11/16/2026
• Openings: 1

About the assignment

• Start ASAP; no floating
• Caseload about 1:25 on days
• 2 years of acute medical social work experience covering both social work and discharge planning
• First-time travelers accepted after screening
• Weekends: every other weekend (Sat and Sun), with a weekday off
• Holidays: must commit to 3 of 5
• Patient population: adult and geriatric
• RTO: no more than 7 days
• Business attire or scrubs

Requirements

• LCSW or MSW; compact license in hand
• Epic charting experience required
• 2+ years of acute care social work and discharge planning experience
• BLS if required
