โค๏ธ Why Aspiranet?

Founded in 1975, Aspiranet is a mission-driven social services agency with locations across California. Our six divisions Foster Care & Adoption, Transitional Aged Youth, Residential, Intensive Home-Based Services, Behavioral Health, and Family & Community provide holistic supports for children, families, and communities. Every role contributes to something greater: building brighter futures where opportunity, hope, and healing are within everyoneโ€™s reach.

๐Ÿ“๏ธ Position Summary

Aspiranet is seeking a dynamic, trauma-informed leader to serve as a Social Worker Program Supervisor within our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP).

This is more than a supervisory role. It is an opportunity to help shape the future of social work services within a growing and evolving residential program. You will lead and support a team of (2) Social Workers across multiple residential cottages, ensuring that every youth receives high-quality, individualized, and coordinated care.

The ideal candidate brings strong clinical insight, leadership presence, and the ability to balance compassion with accountability. You are someone who can coach staff through complex cases, strengthen team performance, and ensure services meet both the highest standards of care and regulatory expectations.

This position will play an important role in developing the Social Work Department as the program enters its next phase of growth while supporting positive outcomes for youth, families, and staff.

๐Ÿ” Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing social work team

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of (2) Social Workers to build strong clinical judgment, confidence, and professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Provide guidance during crises and participate in the on-call rotation.

Drive high-quality, youth-centered care

  • Oversee assessments, case planning, and transition strategies to ensure services are individualized, trauma-informed, and strengths-based.
  • Support staff in coordinating care with youth, families, counties, schools, and community providers.
  • Promote meaningful youth and family voice in Child and Family Team (CFT) processes.
  • Monitor progress toward stability, permanency, and successful transitions.
  • Maintain a small direct caseload, allowing for a primary focus on leadership, staff development, and program oversight.

Ensure excellence in documentation, compliance, and outcomes

  • Review and guide documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare teams for audits, licensing reviews, and accreditation processes.
  • Use data and case trends to identify gaps, improve services, and strengthen outcomes.
  • Support the continued development and advancement of the Social Work Department as the program evolves and grows.

Strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration

  • Partner with residential, behavioral health, education, and medical teams to deliver coordinated, whole-person care.
  • Model trauma-informed and relationship-based practices, including ARC and other agency approaches.
  • Support staff in navigating complex cases, crises, and system barriers.

Build partnerships and uphold program integrity

  • Maintain strong relationships with counties, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing, Joint Commission standards, and agency policies.
  • Respond proactively to concerns related to safety, service quality, and program performance.

๐ŸŒŸ The Impact You'll Make

This role offers a unique opportunity to create meaningful, lasting impact at multiple levels:

For Youth

You will help create environments where youth feel safe, supported, and understood, allowing them to heal from trauma, build healthy relationships, and move successfully toward permanency and independence.

For Families

You will guide and strengthen family engagement, helping rebuild connections and support systems that extend beyond placement.

For Staff

You will mentor and develop social workers into confident, skilled professionals, equipping them to navigate complex cases and make a difference in the lives of youth every day.

For the Program

You will drive consistency, quality, and accountability across multiple cottages while helping shape the next phase of growth for the Social Work Department. Your leadership will influence how care is delivered and ensure services are both compliant and truly impactful.

For the Future

Through Aspiranet's Hope Forward approach, you will help create opportunities, strengthen supports, and build brighter futures for youth, families, staff, and the communities we serve.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your influence is seen in stronger teams, better outcomes, and brighter futures for youth and families.

โœ… Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s Degree in an approved discipline, and two years of casework experience.
  • Meets all state-required conditions of employment as set forth by the funder and regulatory body, i.e. fingerprint and Child Abuse Index Clearance, TB/health physical, valid CDL, and clean driving record.
