The Prevention Service area of Children and Family Services is seeking multiple Senior Social Workers to join the new Under 13 (U13) team to provide advanced case management and clinical intervention for children under the age of 13 displaying complex behavioral, developmental, or emotional needs. In these roles, you will provide an emphasis on early intervention, comprehensive assessment, family stabilization, and coordination across child-serving systems including schools, hospitals, behavioral health, law enforcement, and the County Attorney's Office (CAO). Staff in these roles will receive specialized training to support the needs of youth and families. U13 is a new team and as the program develops schedules may adjust.
These positions are hybrid, with duties performed in homes, schools, hospitals, community settings, and county offices which will require travel throughout Hennepin County, and remote as job duties require. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and require a flexible schedule, working some evenings and weekend hours. While these positions are designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.
