
Job Title: Social Worker - Safeguarding
Location: Somerset
Rate: £38 per hour
Our client in Somerset is looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join their Adults Services team.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Social Worker within the Adults Services team, you will support triage decision-making processes and undertake Section 42 enquiries to assess and mitigate risks. You will develop and implement protection plans tailored to individuals at risk of abuse or neglect while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures. The role requires strong risk management skills and the ability to work closely with vulnerable adults across Somerset.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in adult safeguarding, with a strong understanding of safeguarding practices. You should be confident in record-keeping, risk management, and decision-making in triage situations. The ability to travel for site visits is essential. You must also have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a degree-level qualification in Social Work
