
Job Title: Social Worker - Older People
Location Doncaster
Rate £32 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available for an Adult Social Worker to join a dynamic Older People team based in Doncaster.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will assist in the work familiarization of other employees, including new employees, with little or no supervisory responsibility. You will carry out the statutory duties of the Directorate in relation to adults in accordance with Directorate policies and procedures. Under the supervision of the Team Manager, you will manage a caseload and work closely with other professional staff to assess the needs of adults and deliver packages of care to meet individual requirements. You will develop skills in working with older people, including those with mental infirmity and physical disabilities, and collaborate with team members to provide assistance as needed. Additionally, you will develop special interests according to need, demand, and service priorities, and build and maintain links with other agencies, including statutory, voluntary, and community groups. You will participate in the duty system during office hours on a rota basis and perform any other duties commensurate with the grading of the post. Competently using information technology applications, you will input and record information accurately, support effective communication, and access knowledge and information.

To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
