Job Description

Job Title: Social Worker - Looked After Children
Location: Merseyside
Pay Rate: £42,839 per annum rising to £44,074 after 12 months

Liquid Personnel are in partnership with a client at Merseyside to recruit a Social Worker within their Child Protection/Child in Need Team.

Following their recent Ofsted inspection, Merseyside’s Children’s Social Care Services (CSC) department are on an improvement journey they would love you to be part of.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Child Protection/Child in Need Social Worker you will be also be responsible for carrying duty, assessment and the case up to the initial first court hearing and removal via ICO, after this cases will be transferred over to the looked after Children’s Team.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Hold a Social Work England registration.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
