Make a meaningful difference for children and families impacted by trauma.
Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a compassionate and clinically focused Social Worker II to join the Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress. This is an opportunity for a social worker who is passionate about helping children and families heal, strengthen relationships, and move forward following traumatic experiences.
The Social Worker II serves as a therapist, under the guidance of a supervising licensed clinician, providing services to children who have experienced or may be at risk for trauma related to physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, domestic and community violence, and adverse social conditions.
Using information gathered through interdisciplinary evaluation and diagnostic interviews, the Social Worker II develops and implements individualized treatment plans that address the psychological and social needs of children and their families.
This position offers the opportunity to combine clinical social work, trauma-informed treatment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and family-centered care. You'll work alongside professionals committed to addressing the complex needs of children and families while developing your clinical skills through supervision, consultation, and ongoing training.
If your passion is helping children and families navigate the impact of trauma and build toward a healthier future, consider bringing your skills to Kennedy Krieger Institute's Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress.
