STATUS: Non-exempt, full-time (37.5 hours/week)
HOURLY RATE: $24.00
Provides counseling and case management for clients of the Elder Abuse Prevention Program and their families. Presents educational and training seminars on elder mistreatment and related subjects to professionals and other groups within the community.

QUALIFICIATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent degree required, Master’s degree in social work or equivalent degree preferred. Experience in aging services preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Two years in social work, with at least one year of experience in gerontological social work or aging services preferred.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to meet with clients in their homes.
· Travel within the Finger Lakes region required.
· A portion of the work is performed at a desk or at a personal computer station.
· Verbal, written and telephone communication skills are required.
· Group training and public speaking skills required.
· Strong written and computer skills needed.
· Ability to maintain composure under strict deadlines and difficult situations.
· Ability to work in multicultural situations.

Salary/Hourly Rate
Multiple factors will be considered for salary/hourly determination including, years of relevant service, skills required, education, and internal equity.
