Social Worker – Children With Disabilities (A&R) – Permanent

Liquid Personnel are proud to partner with Slough Children First in recruiting a permanent Social Worker within their Children with Disabilities (CWD) service, specifically the Assessment & Review (A&R) section. Your Key Responsibilities

• Assess, review and progress plans for children in need, including those accessing short breaks
• Respond to safeguarding concerns in line with statutory duties
• Manage an independent caseload, ensuring timely and effective decision making
• Produce high‑quality assessments, reports and evidence‑based plans
• Build purposeful relationships with children, families and partners to drive positive outcomes

For this role you will need

• Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
• Post-qualifying experience in children’s social care, ideally within disability or CIN
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Social Care legislation and care planning processes
• Excellent communication, analytical and report‑writing skills
