Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Social Worker for its client’s Children Looked After Team in Knowsley. Following a recent inspection by the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted), our client’s Children’s Social Care Services (CSC) department is embarking on an exciting improvement journey - and they’d love for you to be part of it.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will support children up to the age of 18 with complex needs, including learning disabilities, physical or sensory impairments, chronic or life-limiting illnesses, or multiple disabilities not addressed by Early Help or Targeted Support. You will assess their needs and collaborate with families to develop tailored plans such as Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans, Children Looked After (CLA) Plans, Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), or Continuing Care Plans, ensuring each child receives appropriate and effective support.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Hold a Social Work England registration.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
