Job Description

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Assessment and intervention team, based in Sandwell.
Plus £2500 market supplement and relocation.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Respond to the needs of children through s47 child protection investigations or through s17 child in need single assessments;
  • Play a pivotal role in developing effective relationships with children and their families to identify their needs and work with families to help develop plans to achieve change;
  • Ensure that the voice of the child is at the centre of your work and use a range of direct work tools to evidence the child’s voice in your assessments and plans.
  • Assessment and intervention team covering S47s, S17s and CIN work.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have;

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
