Job Title: Social Worker - Adult Triage Team
Location Wakefield
Rate £35 per hour

An exciting job has recently become available for an Adult Social Worker to join a Triage team based in Wakefield.

What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will manage and prioritize incoming referrals, providing urgent responses as needed. You will offer guidance and information to individuals seeking social care support, and direct them to appropriate services and resources. Additionally, you will attend and actively participate in multi-agency meetings, lead new initiatives, and contribute to team development. You will also act in one of the specialized roles of Best Interest Assessor, AMHP, Practice Educator, or ASYE Assessor as required.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have proven experience as a Social Worker, preferably in a triage or crisis intervention role. You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for phone-based and face-to-face interactions. Additionally, you need a strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is key, as you must be willing to work some out-of-hours shifts, covering until 7pm on weekdays and from 9am to 5pm on weekends. Finally, you must be a practicing Best Interest Assessor, AMHP, Practice Educator, or ASYE Assessor.
