Job Description

Liquid Personnel is looking for a motivated and compassionate Social Worker (Level 1) to join its client’s Adult Social Care team Royal Borough of Greenwich. You will play a key role in supporting adults with a wide range of social care needs, helping them to maintain independence, improve wellbeing, and achieve the outcomes that matter most to them.

This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified or early‑career social workers who are committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred practice within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Carry out strengths‑based assessments with adults and their carers to understand needs, risks, and desired outcomes.
  • Develop care and support plans that are personalised, proportionate, and promote independence.
  • Review existing care and support plans to ensure they remain effective, safe, and outcome‑focused.
  • Work collaboratively with health partners, voluntary organisations, families, and community networks to deliver integrated support.
  • Support individuals to understand and manage risk, adapt to change, and participate fully in their communities.
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and the rights of adults in line with statutory duties and best practice.
  • Maintain accurate, timely case records and contribute to team learning and development.

Qualifications & Experience:

You will bring:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • A commitment to strengths‑based, person‑centred practice.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and partner agencies.
  • A reflective, learning‑focused approach to developing your professional practice.
  • An understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
