We triage a large volume of referrals from a variety of sources which puts huge demands on our duty service. We need to be knowledgeable about the range of teams within adult social care, their remit and referral routes. We need to be aware of current community resources to support our preventative offer and to work co-operatively and collaboratively with our colleagues in AgeUK Lambeth.
