We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Social Worker to join our team to serve our high school. The Social Worker will lead implementation of the CAPS model in Special Education and support implementation across the school, raising student achievement in preparation for success in postsecondary education, career, and community leadership. The Social Worker will serve as a member of the Child Study Team, assess the needs of children and support the school's instructional program by assisting students in their personal, social & educational growth.

College Achieve Public Schools (CAPS) is a K-12 network of public charter schools operating in three regions in New Jersey: CAPS Central (Plainfield and North Plainfield); CAPS Paterson (City of Paterson); and CAPS Asbury (Asbury Park and Neptune Township). CAPS operates nine charter schools in all in three regions serving nearly 3,500 students.
CAPS is one of the highest performing charter networks in the state of New Jersey - and has closed the achievement gap in several grades, and outperformed the state of NJ's student average in several more grades in ELA on the NJSLA. CAPS Central High School also outperformed the state of New Jersey on the Advanced Placement tests.
