Shift:

Day ShiftInpatient Rehab Social Worker (BSW) - Part-Time
Assesses needs of patients and families and adheres to MercyOne performance expectations of defined services and other related duties in accordance with the MercyOne mission, vision and values.

What you will Do:

  • Conduct assessments
  • Complete social histories
  • Provide therapy based on identified patient needs
  • Plans for dis-charge and after-care
  • Involves families in all aspects of treatment
  • Based on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age of patients
  • Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health polies and procedures

Hours/Schedule: 

48 hours biweekly (.6 FTE)

Minimum Qualifications:    

  • BSW or LMSW
  • State of Iowa LISW or LMSW
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training within 6 months of hire.
