Job Description

This position will provide quality mental health services to students that effectively integrate a wide range of interventions and collaborative mental health services in the SBHC setting. Responsibilities include individual, group and family therapy as well as case management, and crisis prevention and intervention services.

1. School Based Practice and Care Management
2. Provides mental health services consistent with established productivity standards.
3. Completes psychosocial and risk assessments in order to determine appropriate interventions and treatment.
4. Maintains a caseload of 50 or more students per school year.
5. Develops and implements a minimum of 2 therapeutic groups per year for sts with identified needs and facilitates group mental health education.
6. Provides appropriate treatment to students who with mental health diagnoses.
7. Accurately completes reports in a timely manner.
8. Completes documentation adequately, timely and concisely.
9. Communication, Partnership and Collaboration
10. Presents assessment and treatment recommendations at interdisciplinary staffing, social workers meetings and other scheduled opportunities.
11. Provides consultative services to school staff, interns, and community partners regarding mental health issues.
12. Actively participates in training opportunities including preschool conference, profession meetings and in-service.

Experience - Two years of social work experience at the master's level is recommended

Education - Master's Degree in social work or in a related field

License: LCSW
