EducationMaster's Degree from an accredited school of Social Work (Required) Work ExperienceHospital/Health Agency experience. (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesComputer skills (Required proficiency)Theoretical and clinical knowledge regarding health care delivery (Required proficiency)Multi-tasks and prioritizes work (Required proficiency)Works autonomously (Required proficiency)Communicates effectively with persons of various backgrounds (Required proficiency) Licenses and CertificationsLicensed Social Worker (LSW) (Required)Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) (Preferred within one year of eligibility) Position Details/Preferred QualificationsPrevious work with Pediatrics patients, especially in mental health, is strongly preferred. The Social Worker will complete psychosocial assessments, utilization review with insurance companies, stabilize patients, provide referrals, complete ASD consultation on Rainbow Babies & Children’s medical floors, and may assist with outpatient dialysis patients, etc. This schedule is (2) 12-hour shifts and (2) 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, plus every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday. Hours are typically 8:00am-4:30pm and 8:00am-8:30pm.
