The primary role of the Social Work Director is to coordinate, supervise and facilitate the delivery of Social Work Services, as provided by facility or facility contracted staff, to all residents of the Facility, and in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations and professional standards. This position fulfills the responsibility of direction of the facility’s social work services as required by the CT Public Health Code.
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social work or related human services field, required.
A minimum of one years’ experience in long term care providing direct social services, required.
Experience behavioral health preferred.
