Social Services Director

Job Summary:

As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in overseeing our social services department, ensuring that our residents receive personalized support and guidance to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the social services department, including case management, counseling, and therapeutic activities
• Develop and implement comprehensive social services plans that align with each resident's unique needs and goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing, therapy, and dietary staff, to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Recruit, train, and supervise social services staff, including social workers, counselors, and activities coordinators
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards
• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
• Foster a culture of excellence, integrity, and compassion within the social services department

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a social services leadership role
• Strong knowledge of social services principles, practices, and regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
