Tasks

• Teach Social Sciences (e.g., History, Geography, Politics, Ethics) at lower secondary level (Sekundarstufe I, Gymnasium) in an engaging and interactive way
• Deliver lessons in English, ensuring a high level of language immersion
• Design and implement creative teaching strategies that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and maintain a supportive learning environment
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster academic growth

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in English
• Strong background in Social Science (including Ethics)
• German language skills at B1 level (mandatory); B2 level preferred
• Knowledge of Mandarin is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum is an advantage
• Previous teaching experience in an international or bilingual setting is advantageous
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students through innovative teaching methods
• Valid teaching license or certification is required
