General Summary:
TheSocial Publishing Specialistis responsible forexecuting social media publishing across all platforms, ensuring the highest level of quality control, andmaintainingthe editorial calendar as thesingle sourceof truth. This role owns the final stage of content delivery,ensuringallcontentsareaccurate,optimized, and published on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Publishing Execution
Schedule and publish content across platforms
Manage publishing tools (e.g., Sprout, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, ornative platforms)
Ensure posts go live accurately and on time
- Quality Assurance (QA)
Ensure all required elements are complete, accurate, and ready for publishing, performingfinal validation of all content prior to publishing, including:
Validate hashtags and tagging accuracy
Check links, CTAs, and overall copy completenessand formatting
Verify asset specifications (size, format, resolution, correct version)andconfirm platform-specific elementsaremeet
-Social calendar management
Own andmaintainthe social media editorial calendar as the single sourceof truthby ensure it is:
Accurate and up to date in real time
Reflective of all approved content and changes
Clearly structured bybrand and content type
Adjust scheduling based on team requests and evolving priorities
Monitor for gaps, overlaps, or inconsistenciesto ensure content balanced.
- Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate final handoffs with agencies andinternalteams (operations coordinator, operations lead, CM, among others)
- Operational Support
Assist with reporting inputs and publishing documentation
Support optimization of publishing workflows
Profile & Qualifications
Core Skills
Extremely detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Highly organized with strong calendar and task management skills
Ability to consistently follow processes andvalidatemultiple elements before execution
Strong understanding of social media platforms and publishing requirements
Technical Experience
Experience managing andmaintainingsocial media editorial calendars
Hands-on experience with publishing/scheduling tools such as: SproutSprinklr Hootsuite and native platforms tools
Familiarity with asset specifications (image/video formats, sizing, file types)
Background & Experience
Background in social media publishing, content operations, or digital marketing
Experience working in roles focused on execution, publishing, or content delivery
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with frequent updates and adjustments

Requirements
2–4years of experiencein social media or content operations
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience managing content/ editorial calendars
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple workstreams
Strong knowledge of social media publishing workflows (Sprout, sparkle,etc) and QA processes
Preferred skills
Experience with social media in the tech industry
Willingness to learn and interest in problem-solving
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong experience with Workfront or similar project management tools
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
