Job Description

Job Title: Social Management cum Labour Welfare Inspector

Location: Project Site
Experience: 3–8 Years
Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work / Sociology / Labour Welfare or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor labour welfare activities at site (wages, working conditions, facilities)
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements
  • Check availability of basic facilities like drinking water, sanitation, first aid, and accommodation
  • Handle worker grievances and ensure timely resolution
  • Support implementation of social safeguards and community-related activities
  • Ensure no child labour and proper safety practices at site
  • Maintain records of labour, attendance, and welfare measures
  • Coordinate with contractor, local authorities, and project team
  • Prepare reports on labour welfare and social compliance

Requirements:

  • Experience in infrastructure/road/highway projects
  • Knowledge of labour laws and social safeguard practices
  • Good communication and coordination skills
