Job Purpose or Objective (s): A Social Media Coordinator will oversee the Choctaw Nation’s social media voice by publishing content across social media outlets and contributes to growing audience and expanding influence by monitoring social media presence, identifying opportunities to join conversations, establishing connections with key influencers, and driving engagement.

Primary Tasks:
Requirements:
Create, execute, and analyze social media strategy through competitive research, messaging and audience identification.
Implement content calendar and posting schedule to manage and plan specific and timely marketing campaigns.
Generate, edit and publish daily/weekly content within each platform to build brand and increase visibility.
Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information for future outcomes.
Maintains consistency of the online community by moderating content, providing initial responses to inquiries, engaging in dialogues and answering questions.
Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits.
Develop and test methods for measuring the impact of social media programs.
Collaborate with team in the development of ongoing and seasonal strategies and communications for all campaigns.
Maintain up-to-date information on social media tools and trends.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration, another related field, or two (2) years of relevant experience.
Six months exposure to marketing related experience in any industry.
Experience in social media content planning and execution.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Exhibit knowledge and correct use of social media management tools.
Knowledge of all digital platforms and their integration into traditional media.
Copywriting and proofreading skills.
Positivity and flexibility, works well with others.
