Job Description

Position: Social Media Video Editor
Number of hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: AU Time zone


Tasks required:

  • Edit and produce high-quality, engaging short-form videos and reels for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

  • Use CapCut Pro to enhance video content with transitions, text, effects, music, and branding elements.

  • Repurpose raw footage into content that fits platform-specific formats and trends.

  • Organize and maintain video files and assets within Google Drive for easy access and collaboration.

  • Track tasks, updates, and deadlines using Asana to ensure timely delivery of content.

  • Communicate effectively with the team for feedback, updates, and direction.

  • Occasionally assist with basic administrative tasks, such as uploading content, organizing files, or minor scheduling support.

  • Stay informed on current social media trends to help guide content style and editing choices.

  • Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned

Requirements

  • Proven confidence and skill in creating social media reels

  • Deep knowledge and advanced skills in CapCut Pro

  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time independently.

  • Comfortable using Google Drive and Asana for task and file management.

  • Ability to assist with minor admin tasks or content scheduling.

  • Exhibit strong work ethic and initiative

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and feedback clearly in a virtual setting.

  • Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision

Additional Details

  • Holidays: No work is required on both AU and PH holidays

  • Flexible hours with strict adherence to deadlines.
