Calvary Resources exists to reach people with the truth of God’s Word through a variety of ministry outlets—including KWAVE, Calvary Distribution, and The Chapel Store Each branch shares the same heart: to help people grow in their faith and equip them with biblical resources that encourage and inspire.

The Social Media Strategist supports the marketing and communications efforts across Calvary Resources by creating, scheduling, and managing social media content for multiple ministry platforms. This role plays a vital part in helping each ministry—KWAVE, Calvary Distribution, and The Chapel Store—connect with its audience, strengthen brand awareness, and share the hope of the Gospel through digital engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be an example to those who you come in contact and serve with by exuding the love of Christ.
  • Understand that it is a privilege to serve the Lord in vocational ministry and that those who serve God on staff at CCCM are expected to embrace a high biblical, Christ-like standard of conduct and lifestyle, both public and personal.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling social media content that aligns with the mission and brand of each ministry under Calvary Resources.
  • Create engaging posts, graphics, videos, and stories for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Support daily posting and content monitoring to ensure a consistent and active online presence for all brands.
  • Engage with followers and online communities through comments and messages in a Christ-centered, encouraging manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support ministry campaigns, promotions, and event coverage.
  • Track analytics and report performance insights to help improve engagement and outreach.
  • Maintain organized content libraries, image archives, and media assets.
  • Stay current on social media trends and emerging opportunities in digital ministry and Christian media.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite).
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
  • Alignment with Christian values and ability to communicate faith-based content authentically.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Experience working in ministry, nonprofit, or retail marketing (especially Christian media or publishing).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, paid social campaigns, or email marketing.
  • Light video editing, photography, or motion design skills a plus.
