This position will be responsible for two properties Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort & Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel.Manage social media accounts including content creation, ad design and placement. Maintains websites and their interface with Caesars Rewards Mobile App.. Assists with digital advertising ad design and placement.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
Develop and enhance company’s online presence through social media, website and Caesars Rewards Mobile App including posts, account management and ad placement
Ensure up to date and accurate information
Create social media content matrices/calendars to organize organic and advertising content by platform
Write copy to be used in social media including posts and promotions
Work closely with Caesars Advertising Media Manager to place digital ads aligning with marketing goals and objectives
Take or obtain high quality digital photographs appropriate for use on various media platforms
Ensure all images meet brand guidelines and regulatory requirements
Resize and edit images as needed to meet each social media platforms specifications and for maximum effectiveness considering the unique needs and users for each platform and campaign
Request creative design for content and ads, work closely with vendors and the internal design team to ensure timelines and creative standards are met
Review design proofs to ensure regulatory compliance
Monitor social media conversations which mention the company and respond appropriately
Post original and shared content on social media platforms in compliance with current best practices and the social media strategy
Create custom social media audiences and support the development of demographic targeting lists to support the social media advertising campaigns
Coordinate promotions and offers with other members of the Marketing Department and provide social media support for campaigns including advertising as appropriate
Monitor effectiveness of content, campaigns and advertising on each platform considering engagement, reach, account growth and return on advertising investment
Encourage reviews of the company online while adhering to policies and guidelines of review sites
Prepare reports to demonstrate results of social media and review management, and meet regulatory requirements
Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of social media and review platforms by participating in trainings
Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task force by providing input and suggestions
Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees
Conduct special projects
Other duties as required to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers
Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required
One year marketing experience required
One year experience managing multiple professional social media accounts simultaneously required
One year experience managing social media advertising campaigns on Facebook and Twitter required
Valid driver’s license required
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Proficient in use of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn for business marketing
Proficient in the use of a digital SLR camera for taking professional photos and videos
Proficient in graphic design for social media graphics, banners, memes and photo editing
Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
