Social Media Specialist (80-100%)

The Social Media Specialist is part of the Marketing & Communication Unit of Lombard Odier and more precisely part of the Digital team. The position reports directly to the Head of Social Media.

Your mission is to support and contribute to the development of the social media presence of both the Group and Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM). Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will help strengthen brand awareness, thought leadership and audience engagement while ensuring consistency with Lombard Odier's brand identity and standards.

YOUR MISSION

Your role consists in supporting and contributing to social media activities for the Group and LOIM (organic and sponsored), and more precisely:

  • Contribute to the definition and execution of editorial calendars based on editorial content, events, media campaigns and relevant market developments;
  • Write, edit and optimise social media copy in English and French, ensuring the appropriate tone of voice for each platform and audience;
  • Manage the day-to-day publication of content across social media channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely execution;
  • Support the coordination and implementation of paid social media campaigns with external media agencies;
  • Own and contribute to compliance guidelines and directives related to social media activities and employee advocacy programmes;
  • Monitor social media performance and contribute to regular reporting, analysis and recommendations;
  • Conduct social listening and monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging platform developments;
  • Actively contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance social media strategy, content, visual storytelling, functionality and audience engagement;
  • Explore innovative content formats and approaches while ensuring alignment with Lombard Odier's brand identity, positioning and regulatory environment;
  • Support employee advocacy and internal social media initiatives when required.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 1-3 years' experience in social media, digital marketing or communications;
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, Threads and YouTube;
  • Genuine interest in social media trends, digital innovation and content creation;
  • Creative mindset with the ability to propose new ideas while respecting brand guidelines and a highly regulated environment;
  • Curious, organised, detail-oriented and proactive;
  • Ability to analyse performance metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations;
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French;
  • Familiarity with social media management, analytics and listening tools, Sprinklr is a plus;
  • Must be a resident in Switzerland.
