Job Description

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

This role will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies that strengthen our brand presence, support our portfolio of global and local brands, and drive meaningful audience engagement across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage day-to-day social media content across platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Create high-quality, engaging content including captions, visuals, and short-form video aligned with brand identity
  • Translate global brand strategies into locally relevant and culturally resonant social campaigns
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to enquiries, and manage community engagement
  • Plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and product launches across digital channels
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reporting with insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and brand partners to align messaging and campaigns
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance brand visibility
  • Support broader marketing initiatives, events, and PR activities as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in social media management or digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content creation techniques
  • Experience working with consumer brands (FMCG, retail, or lifestyle strongly preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly creative with strong attention to detail and visual storytelling ability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Remuneration is from CI$45,000 - CI$55,000 per annum and other benefits commensurate with experience

Applicants must be willing to work late shifts, weekends and public holidays where needed. Fluency in English is required. Package includes health insurance and pension benefits as specified by Cayman Islands law.
