
This individual will help execute a variety of social media-related tasks, including technical and routine functions as well as creative and communication-based projects. The individual will work closely with the social media team in office to collaborate on compiling and drafting posts across the university’s social media pages, trend research, community engagement, social listening, engagement with social media ambassadors and the like.
Day-to-day responsibilities will vary. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for event coverage and general campus photography. The student employee can expect to gain experience working on marketing and communications pieces, including social media copy, photography and videography, audience engagement and brand health assessments.
The wage for this position is $14/hour.
Required skills:
Photography and videography skills
Ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Familiarity with primary social media platforms
