
The Social MediaMarketing, AVPwill be responsible fordeveloping and executing comprehensive social media strategies that align with the firm’s business objectivesThis position oversees social media campaigns, vendor partnerships, and ensures the growth and maintenance of the brand’s presence across various platforms. The AVP plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s digital reputation, managing budgets for paid social media initiatives, and driving the overall social media marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
This position will report to and work closely with the group’sHead of social media,and partner withinterdepartmental groups and agencies (i.e., Advertising, Events & Public Relations, Channel Marketing, Web, Content, Direct Marketing).The ideal candidate will have B2B social media marketing experience, as well as familiarity with and interest ininvesting and regulated industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic planning and campaign management
Develop and implement overarching social media strategies and proposals that support the firm’s business goals and brand objectives.
Oversee planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel social media campaigns.Act as day-to-day contact for and manager of assigned projects, campaigns and/or pitches. This will include liaising with internal groups and outside agencies.
Partner with senior executives and subject matter experts to develop and execute social media strategies that enhance thought leadership, executive visibility, and brand reputation.
Paid campaignsand performance
A strong copywriter, comfortable breaking down complex financial services content into engaging, jargon-free social media posts while remaining true to the brand.
Create a consistent measurement and reporting framework forsocial media marketingactivity that tracks the campaign effectiveness against ROI.
Identify opportunities for improving and/or building on campaigns
Growth initiatives and trend analysis
Identify and implement strategies to grow the brand’s presence and engagement on social media channels.
Stay informed of the latest trends in social media marketing and integrate relevant innovations into strategy.
Vendor partnerships
Managing vendor partner relationships,to ensure the successful delivery of social media initiativesIncluding vettingproposals,budgetmanagement, and project management.
Governance and risk management
Ensure all social media activities adhere to regulatory requirements, corporate policies, brand standards, and social media governance frameworks.
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Communications teams to manage approvals, disclosures, recordkeeping requirements, and reputational risk considerations across social media programs.
Influencer and creator program oversight
Develop and oversee influencer, creator, and amplification programs, including strategy development, partner selection, contract and compliance reviews, campaign execution, and performance measurement.
Manage relationships with influencer agencies, creators, and strategic partners to expand reach, support campaign objectives, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Skills
Familiarity with and interest in investment management topics. Knowledge of financial advisory marketplace a plus.
Avid social media user with keen interest in social media marketing and trends; familiarity with the social media platforms: LinkedIn,Meta,YouTube, Reddit, TikTok,X
Social media marketing and/or agency experience is required.
Proficiencywith CRM platforms such as Sprinklr or Hootsuite.
Exhibit superior written andverbalcommunication skills.
Flexibility and responsiveness to deal with complex problems and strategic opportunities on the fly – must be able to think on your feet and nimbly go from 10,000 foot view to ground level and back.
Excellent project management skills and experience working with web/graphic designers and other creative professionals.
Working, communicating and influencing with senior levels in an organization
Working in cross cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own, as part of a team and globally (preferred)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
8+years of experience in marketing-related fields.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
Experience working across multiple regions in a multi-national corporation, preferably within financial servicesasset management organizations.
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $140,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
