Your responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and execute thumb-stopping content across key social media platforms
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, cultural moments, and viral opportunities to create timely and relevant content
  • Optimize content for platform-specific formats (Reels, Stories, Shorts, Carousels, Live Streams, Threads, etc.)
  • Partner with Brand & Campaign, Creative, and Influencer teams to align social storytelling with broader marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and engage with audiences in real time, fostering an active and engaged online community
  • Develop a brand voice and tone that resonates with audiences and maintains authenticity
  • Manage community management through an agency partner
  • Identify opportunities for collaborations, partnerships, and UGC amplification to expand reach
  • Use platform and external analytic tools to measure success against KPIs
  • Continuously test and iterate on content types, formats, posting times, and messaging to maximize impact
  • Work closely with paid media teams to ensure organic content aligns with paid social strategies
  • Set up and manage platform-specific boosting ads to maximize visibility and engagement on organic content
  • Collaborate with influencer marketing teams to develop content that leverages brand advocates and creators
  • Partner with PR, Brand and Campaign, and Creative teams to support campaign launches and major brand moments
  • Ensure consistent community management and brand voice across all platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube, by closely collaborating with agency teams (community, content, influencer, and analytics)
  • Plan and execute engagement initiatives (e.g., campaigns, UGC, social takeovers) to strengthen brand connection and activate audiences
  • Continuously analyze performance, trends, and sentiment using social listening tools, deriving insights for optimization and managing risks (including crisis and escalation processes)

What you bring

  • Degree in marketing, communications, media, or a comparable qualification
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, platform dynamics, and digital culture
  • Hands-on experience with social media, analytics, and publishing tools, including a solid understanding of paid social and performance marketing
  • Experience in community management and working with agencies
  • Creative mindset combined with analytical thinking and a data-driven approach
  • Strong communication skills and a keen sense of brand voice and tone
  • Structured, proactive working style and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English and German
