Job Description

We Are Social is hiring a hands on, execution focused Social Media Manager to be seconded directly to Vodafone. In this role, you will own the end to end execution of Vodafone’s always on music social strategy across TikTok and Instagram.

Your mission is to turn live music moments into long-term content engines, building cultural relevance, credibility, and active conversation for the brand. You will act as the vital connection point between Vodafone, We Are Social, event production partners, media, legal, customer care, and external communications teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own daily music-led publishing and content calendars across TikTok and Instagram, maintaining consistent cadence, quality, and channel hygiene.
  • Enable fast, compliant, and reactively relevant content delivery to capitalise on real-time shifts in music culture.
  • Act as the social lead for Vodafone music events, managing live run-sheets, content priorities, and tight publishing windows.
  • Coordinate pre-, during-, and post-event content capture, working with creators and partners to ensure fast turnarounds and an extended content tail.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for agency partner We Are Social, driving the daily delivery of social assets.
  • Coordinate internal approvals with Legal, Brand, and External Comms teams, ensuring strict adherence to tone-of-voice and music rights guardrails.
  • Partner with the agency to track volume, speed-to-publish, and deep engagement metrics (shares, watch time, sentiment) to identify high-performing formats.
  • Use performance insights to identify top-performing organic music content and support its selective paid amplification.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing social channels in a fast-paced brand or agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram platform behaviour.
  • Experience managing agencies, creators and production partners.
  • Confident navigating legal and external communications approvals.
  • Experience in music, events or cultural activations is highly desirable.
