We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead the social media strategy and execution for a portfolio of brands across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for developing engaging content strategies, managing campaign execution, driving audience growth, and delivering measurable business outcomes through social media.

You will collaborate closely with internal planning, creative, strategy, media buying, and client teams to create impactful social-first campaigns that strengthen brand presence and engagement.

Reporting of the Role

This role reports to the Business Director.

In This Role, Your Goals Will Be

In the First Three Months

• Understand client businesses, objectives, audiences, and brand guidelines.
• Manage day-to-day social media deliverables across assigned accounts.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize content accordingly.

In Six Months

• Lead social media strategies for key brands.
• Drive audience growth, engagement, and community management excellence.
• Introduce new platform opportunities, creator collaborations, and emerging social trends.
• Present strategic recommendations and performance insights to clients.

In Twelve Months

• Become the trusted social media lead for your client portfolio.
• Successfully contribute to new business pitches and integrated campaigns.
• Deliver award-worthy social campaigns and innovative digital activations.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building within the team.

What Your Day Job Looks Like at WPP Media

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Build monthly and campaign-based content calendars across multiple platforms.
• Work closely with creative teams to develop engaging content, copy, and campaign concepts.
• Manage social media publishing schedules and ensure timely execution.
• Monitor platform performance and optimize campaigns based on key performance metrics.
• Analyze campaign results and prepare insightful client reports with actionable recommendations.
• Stay updated with platform algorithms, emerging trends, creator economy developments, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with media planning and buying teams to maximize paid social campaign performance.
• Manage influencer collaborations and social content partnerships where required.
• Handle day-to-day client communication related to social media activities and campaign execution.
• Ensure brand consistency across all social platforms.
• Support new business pitches with social media strategy and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience managing social media for brands or agencies.
• Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar platforms.
• Experience using social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of content strategy, influencer marketing, and paid social campaigns.
• Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, or relevant social media certifications will be an advantage.
