Social Media Manager — Soccer Shots Utah County
Location: Lehi, UT (with occasional travel to classes across Utah County) Hours: 5–7 hours/week Pay: $15–$20/hour, depending on experience Job Type: Part-time
About Us
Soccer Shots Utah County brings soccer-based development programs to kids ages 2–8 across Saratoga Springs, Lehi, and Eagle Mountain. We're passionate about building confidence, character, and a love of the game in young children — and we're looking for someone who can help us share that story online and turn followers into families.
The Role
We're looking for a creative, organized, and personable Social Media Manager to grow our online presence and help drive new sign-ups. This is a part-time, flexible role great for someone who loves storytelling, enjoys working with kids and families, and wants ownership over a brand's social presence.
What You'll Do
- Create and schedule engaging social media posts (Facebook and Instagram) that highlight our programs, coaches, and the joy on kids' faces
- Engage directly with families who follow us — responding to comments and messages, building relationships, and encouraging trial class sign-ups
- Occasionally attend classes at our field locations to capture photos and video for future content
- Help maintain a consistent, positive, family-friendly brand voice across all channels
- Track what's working and suggest new content ideas to keep our pages fresh
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in social media, content creation, and community engagement
- Comfort with a smartphone camera; photo/video editing experience is a plus
- Strong writing skills and an eye for what makes people stop scrolling
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage a flexible weekly schedule
- Warm, professional communication style — you'll be a face of our brand to parents
- Must be comfortable being around children and families at our class locations
- Prior experience with Facebook/Instagram business pages or scheduling tools is a plus, but not required — we'll train you on our systems
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must pass a background check (required for anyone interacting with children/families, even occasionally)
- Reliable transportation to attend classes in Lehi and surrounding Utah County locations
