Role Main Purpose:
The chosen candidate will lead the social media content unit in charge of creating content for the English language Saudi Pro League (SPL) accounts
The unit will be in charge of ideation, copywriting and delivery of graphic, video, image and text-based content, including match coverage, non-matchday content and digital campaigns aimed at achieving the international objectives of the SPL digital strategy.
Operational Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Digital Content Director and Digital Strategy Director in implementing digital strategies to maximize reach and monetization across social channels.
Produce comprehensive content calendars including campaigns, match coverage and daily content across English social media channels.
Oversee the production of social content, including video, graphic, text and image-based content across SPL digital channels and campaigns.
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Oversee efficient and engaging live coverage of Roshn Saudi League matches.
Develop community management guidelines and approach for English accounts.
Develop reactive content approach across football and other trending topics to ensure SPL remains at the heart of the conversation on social.
Optimize use of SPL’s automated graphics, video production and publishing tools to enrich social content during matchdays and non-matchdays.
Education & Experience:
Experience in social media industry including at least 2 years in supervisory and managerial roles.
