What’s the purpose of the role?
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day social media execution across multiple brand accounts, overseeing designers and content creators to produce high-performing, on-brand content across Instagram, TikTok, and other key platforms. This is a creative and strategic role where storytelling, visual judgment, and cross-team collaboration are everything — the ideal candidate knows how to translate brand direction into compelling social experiences that both look great and drive results.
What will I be doing?
Own day-to-day social execution across assigned brand accounts — posting, community management, and performance tracking.Build and manage monthly content calendars using a mix of internal assets, UGC, designer support, and AI-assisted tools.Write on-brand, engaging captions that balance brand voice with performance.Create visually compelling static graphics, reels covers, story templates, and other assets for Instagram and TikTok.Lead and oversee the social designer and content creators to ensure output is on-brand and on time.Act as the main client-facing contact for day-to-day approvals, feedback, and calendar management.Collaborate with the influencer, paid media, and creative teams to ensure content integrates seamlessly across campaigns.Track deliverables and deadlines across all brand accounts.Support the Social Director with performance reports, presentations, and strategy reviews.Proactively suggest new content formats, experiments, and workflow improvements.Explore and implement AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI) to improve efficiency and quality.What are my deliverables?

What experience do I need to succeed?
- 2+ years of experience managing social media for brands — agency or in-house
- Proven experience building and managing content calendars across Instagram and TikTok
- Hands-on experience with graphic design tools — Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar
- Working knowledge of lo-fi video editing tools such as CapCut or InShot
- Experience managing or directing designers and content creators
- Comfort being client-facing — handling approvals, feedback, and day-to-day communication professionally
- A strong eye for aesthetics and the ability to assess whether content looks and feels right for a brand
- Excellent written communication skills — you write captions that actually perform
Nice to have:
- Experience working across multiple client accounts simultaneously (agency background is a big plus)
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Canva AI, or Notion AI
- Background in beauty, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Experience supporting strategy reviews or building performance presentations
