Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager with a strong background in digital marketing and enterprise social media to support the delivery of large-scale marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional partners — including marketing, product, and agency teams — to develop strategies, execute campaigns, and ensure that social media efforts align with business objectives.

This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels in fast-paced environments and is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, managing campaigns, and leveraging data and analytics to drive performance.

Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Hours: 9 AM–5 PM EST
Pay: T4: CAD 43.52 // IC: CAD 50.00

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Elicit, develop, and execute organic and paid social media strategies aligned to business goals and measurable outcomes.
• Translate marketing objectives into actionable social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Manage end-to-end paid social media campaigns, including planning, execution, optimization, and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to support integrated marketing initiatives.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on social-first content, ensuring alignment with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
• Publish and manage content using social media management tools such as Sprinklr, HootSuite, or Sprout Social.
• Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media channels.
• Develop training and educational materials to guide stakeholders on social media best practices.
• Coordinate and support live social media events, including real-time content creation and execution logistics.
• Analyze campaign performance, engagement metrics, and audience insights to provide recommendations for optimization.
• Contribute to regular reporting and scorecards, communicating results and insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation and organization of reports and assets within enterprise tools such as OneDrive and SharePoint.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of progressive experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong experience managing both organic and paid social media campaigns.
• Proficiency with social media management tools such as Sprinklr, HootSuite, or Sprout Social.
• Hands-on experience with social advertising platforms including Meta Business Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategies, and digital marketing best practices.
• Excellent writing, editing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred

• Bilingual in French and English.
• Experience within financial services or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with creative tools or skills such as video editing or content design.

Education

• Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline
