Social Media Manager (Strategy, Brand Campaigns & Video Content)

Location: PIA ROAD, Johar Town ( Lahore Office)

What we’re actually looking for

We need a hands-on Social Media Manager who can build the strategy, own and maintain always on and campaign programmes across all channels, and run video and content production from brief to publish. You’ll translate business goals into channel specific plans, keep the brand consistent across touchpoints, and partner with designers, videographers, and stakeholders to deliver campaigns that drive measurable impact.

You will lead our social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube (and others as relevant). The role combines strategic planning, brand campaign ownership, and content/VFXlight video production using ai or editing tools with daily community management and performance reporting. Success looks like growth in brand awareness, engagement, quality traffic/leads, and a clear ROI story.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop channel specific social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and community growth.

  • Analyze long-term needs of the social programme and propose quarterly strategy updates to leadership, aligning with the broader digital marketing plan.

  • Build integrated campaign plans (objectives, audiences, messaging, content formats, media mix, timelines, KPIs).

Brand Campaign Ownership

  • Plan, launch, and maintain always on and burst campaigns (organic and paid), ensuring creative excellence and consistency with brand guidelines.

  • Set measurable goals for each campaign, track performance in real time, and demonstrate ROI with clear insights and recommendations.

  • Partner with design, performance marketing, SEO/Content, and Sales to deliver cohesive, full funnel activity.

Content & Video Production

  • Own the content calendar (copy, creative, shortform video, carousels, stories, reels, shorts, thought leadership posts).

  • Script, brief, and/or edit short‑form videos (e.g., Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn clips); coordinate shoots; manage basic editing and subtitles where needed.

  • Create or brief multimedia assets (graphics, infographics, motion snippets) and maintain brand voice and visual identity.

Publishing, Community & Governance

  • Schedule and publish posts across channels; monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and community feedback in a brand safe, timely way.

  • Run competitions and social activations to drive reach and participation.

  • Ensure brand, legal, and platform compliance (usage rights, disclosures, accessibility best practices).

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build monthly and quarterly reports on performance and emerging trends; translate data into decisions (content mix, posting cadence, budget shifts).

  • Track channel health (engagement rate, follower growth, sentiment, video retention) and campaign KPIs (CTR, CVR, cost per result, assisted contribution to pipeline).

Teamwork & Leadership

  • Manage and mentor junior team members and freelancers (copy, design, video), providing feedback and direction.

  • Liaise with Cross functional stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver a holistic, effective online marketing strategy

Qualifications

Must-haves

  • 3–5+ years in social media management with proven strategy ownership and brand campaign delivery (organic + paid).

  • Portfolio that shows end-to-end campaign work and shortform video (Reels/Shorts/LinkedIn) including content calendars and performance outcomes.

  • Strong copywriting and editorial judgement; confident turning complex topics into engaging social stories.

  • Comfortable with hands-on video workflows (briefing, shooting coordination, basic editing, captions).

  • Proficiency with platform analytics and common tools (e.g., GA4, LinkedIn analytics, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite/Buffer/Later).

  • Data driven mindset: able to set targets, build dashboards, and present results to execs.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, prioritisation, and project management skills.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in B2B or services environments (e.g., technology, cybersecurity, IT).

  • Basic design skills (Canva/Adobe Express; familiarity with Premiere Pro/Cap Cut a plus).

  • Paid social experience (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads) and familiarity with UTM discipline and funnel reporting.

  • Experience collaborating in tools like Notion, or Jira as we are using Microsoft List.
