About the Role:Join Charleston Swim School as a Social Media Intern and dive into the exciting world of digital marketing! This role is perfect for creative individuals who are passionate about swimming and eager to enhance their social media skills while promoting a beloved local institution.
Responsibilities:

• Create engaging social media content across various platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
• Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media channels.
• Analyze social media metrics to track engagement and growth.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall goals.
• Research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Help organize and promote events through social media channels.
• Support the creation of promotional materials and graphics for online use.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual content.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
• Prior experience in social media management or digital marketing is preferred.
• Enthusiasm for swimming and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Local to Charleston SC.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
