We believe that health starts where people live, learn, work, and play. Our work focuses on four key initiatives: Food Access, Housing (including Recuperative Care), Education, and the Built Environment.
NHF is seeking a creative, mission-driven Social Media Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a storyteller who is passionate about public health, social welfare, and community empowerment. You will help amplify our impact by creating engaging digital content that highlights our work in recuperative care, food justice, and youth engagement.

National Health Foundation is addressing the social determinants of health using several research-proven strategies. We are targeting Food Access, with an emphasis on increasing the availability of health and fresh foods in under-resourced communities, Housing, with a focus on providing shelter and care for individuals who have been released from the hospital, the Built Environment, prioritizing the removal of the barriers to health in the Historic South Los Angeles community, and Education, with a focus on risk prevention and support for pregnant and parenting teens to complete their education.
