We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to support our marketing and communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, branding, and digital engagement while working alongside industry professionals.
Responsibilities
· Content Creation and Curation Develop and source engaging content that aligns with Integral’s brand voice and goals. This includes writing posts, creating graphics, and producing videos.
· Scheduling and Posting Help to schedule and post content using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social, ensuring consistency and timeliness.
· Community Engagement Monitor social media channels and engage with followers and employees, responding to comments and messages, and fostering positive interactions.
· Analytics and Reporting Monitor social media metrics to assess the performance of campaigns and content. This involves using tools to track engagement, reach, and other key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting these findings to stakeholders.
· Advertising and Promotions Create and manage social media advertising campaigns to promote products, services, or events. This includes setting budgets, targeting audiences, and optimizing ads for better performance.
· Staying Updated with Trends Keep up with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand remains relevant and competitive. This also involves experimenting with new features and platforms.
· Campaign Support: Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns, including brainstorming ideas, coordinating with others, and ensuring all elements are aligned with campaign goals.
Qualifications
· Educational Background Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
· Strong Writing Skills Ability to create engaging and clear content tailored to different social media platforms.
· Familiarity with Social Media Platforms Understanding of major social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others, including their features and best practices.
· Creativity Ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas for content and campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
· Basic Graphic Design Skills Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) to create visually appealing posts.
· Analytical Skills Basic understanding of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data to measure the success of campaigns and suggest improvements.
· Organizational Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a content calendar.
· Communication and Interpersonal Skills Strong communication skills to interact with team members and engage with the online community effectively.
· Attention to Detail Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all social media posts and communications.
